Precautions during BSNL broadband plan change

BSNL is one of India's biggest ISPs, they have some very good broadband plans and are becoming more popular by the day. However, it is their service which is lacking, they are not very reliable.

During changing of plans, it very important to be careful as those people don't always do things that seem obvious, so its best to keep some points in mind before proceeding with a plan change, here are a few simple guidelines:

• You need to apply in the previous month for the change of broadband plan
• The plan change need not happen on the 1st of that month
• When changing to a higher plan, you are required to pay one month's rent in advance
• Be sure, double or even triple check that your plan has been changed before you start using it, customer care is not reliable
