How to Check BSNL Broadband Usage Details

If you do not have unlimited boardband plans, it is necessary to keep your usage under a check else you could be in for a shocker by the end of the month. BSNL has some pretty good plans which have limited usage caps, with such plans you need to be careful.
The BSNL site does not update on a real time basis and is not dependable as they have a lot of downtime and other issues. Hence their site is not a reliable source at all. They could show the usage details of the first day of the month on the 20th of that month ! LOL
When BSNL says 1.5GB download, they actually mean 1.5GB of download and upload combined. It takes about 15MB for 1hr of browsing, but if you use sites like youtube, it will be far more. So, its different for different people.
So how do you see your broadband usage details? How do you make sure that you don't over run your 'download' limit, here are 3 ways of keeping track your usage details :
