Hardware Price list:
Here is the price list of the various graphics cards available in the market. It will be updated from time to time, so do check in, you can also download the graphics card pricelist and other hardware price lists from here directly:
Sapphire :
ATI HD 5450 1GB GDDR3 (80 Shaders) - Rs 3400
ATI HD 5570 1GB GDDR3 (400 Shaders) - Rs 3900
ATI HD 5670 512MB GDDR5 (400 Shaders) - Rs 4300
ATI HD 5670 1GB GDDR5 (400 Shaders) - Rs 5000
ATI HD 5750 1GB GDDR5 (720 shaders) - Rs 5900
ATI HD 5770 1GB GDDR5 (800 Shaders) - Rs7200
AMD HD 6850 1GB GDDR5 (960 Shaders) - Rs9500
AMD HD 6870 1GB GDDR5 (1120 Shaders) - Rs 12800
AMD HD 6950 1GB GDDR5 (1408 Shaders) - Rs 14500
AMD HD 6850 2GB GDDR5 (1408 Shaders) - Rs 16700
AMD HD 6970 2GB GDDR5 (1536 Shaders) - Rs20000
*Note on "shaders"
The shaders, in a very crude language, are the units that actually do the work. Hence, in general, the more shaders the better performance. But you should compare these numbers only between cards of the same series, ie, Its not the same if you compare the HD 5850 with 1440 shaders and HD 6950 with 1408 shaders, the HD 6950 has a different architecture and is singificantly faster (better) than the HD 5850 despite having a higher number of shaders. But this method is true if you compare the HD 5670 with 400 shaders to the HD 5750 with 720 shaders, the HD 5750 is significantly faster than the HD 5670 due to the additional shaders.
Type of memory :
In the market these days, there are 2 main type of graphics memory used. One is GDDR3 and the other is GDDR5. Both have very different architecture and hence have very different performance. GDDR5 memory is much faster than GDDR3, so whenever budget permits, get a card with this kind of memory. Some cards still carry DDR2 memory, but they are pretty low end and almost phased out completely. Again, this method is not always true as the performance mainly depends on the GPU itself, so do bare that in mind.
Amount of video memory:
More amount of memory does not always indicate the level of performance. Sure, having more memory is better, but if its not required, then why waste money? The amount of memory should be taken according to the resolution you will be gaming at, in general, this is what I follow:
for resolutions below 1280x1024 or 1440x900 : Get a 512MB graphics card, anything more is not really required.
At 1920x1080 (1080p or Full HD) : 1GB is ideal, having 2GB might not make a significant impact (depends on the game really)
Above 1080p : Its best if you get a 1.5GB or 2GB graphics card, will be pretty helpful
Thats about it, I hope I made your graphics card shopping much easier, so if you got any more queries, feel free to comment below :

Cards at that low budget are practically of no use...I would highly recommend that you increase your budget till Rs6000 and get yourself a HD 7750 card for Rs6200 on smcinternationa.in ..
ha buddy i have 2gb ddr3 ram and 1gb nvidia 210 geforce but Gta 4 isnt running well can u plz tell me why
210 is a very low end card buddy...
also, GTA 4 is a demanding game, you need a quad core cpu and a good graphics card with at least 512MB to play it well..
can u tell me which graphic card is best in range of 6000
HD 7750 for Rs6200 from www.smcinternational.in is the best card at the price buddy... :)

what is the need of graphics card and video card on pc? And can you explain about 32 bit and 64bit os.
i would suggest you upgrade your system...i think its very very old..get the HD 5670 if you get it for under Rs5000..
Graphics card and the video card are the same...as for their use, any graphics related task is carried out by it. Things like Games and movies are the most common tasks. A system always has a graphics processor, its generally inbuilt, which is probably what you are using. Those don't perform that great, hence you get the add on video cards that perform much better..
As for 32bit and 64bit OS, you don't need to know much, but as of now, just get a 64bit OS if you have 4GB of RAM or more.. :)
