Best PC games of 2010

2010 has been a great year if you are a PC gaming fanatic. With so many great titles released and some which are on the way, it promises to become even better in the coming few months.

Here, I will talk about the games that I love to play, so obviously, I could have missed out a few great games, but that is where I need you to point them out and tell me what you love to play.

Battlefield Bad company 2, is one of the prettiest games i have ever seen, the game physics feel great and the story is not too bad. The game is fun in single player, not tried multi player yet though. You need a decent PC to run this game at good settings, its one of the first few games that uses DX 11.

After more than a decade, Blizzard has finally released the sequel to its hit game starcraft, starcraft 2. The game is pretty good, the single player is ok, the multiplayer is also fun. The only downside is that there is no lan play option and that you can play multi player in the region from where you have got your game from, so if you buy from the US and live in bangalore (like me) you have to play on american servers only, which totally suxs!

Nevertheless the game is good, comes with a hefty price tag of $60, Rs5000 in india (some special version)

Little more about the game, the game looks decent, but has pretty hefty hardware demands, you need a really good PC to play it smooth at 1080p.

I had a lot of fun playing this game. Its the same type of gameplay, but you have an array of powers and upgrades this time. The story is good, the graphics are great and its not too hard on the system too. Overall, its good fun with all the puzzles and maizes , you should give it a shot.

Well, some really awesome titles yet to be released this year, so these are the games I am really excited about:

Well, one of the most awaited games of the year, Mafia II is due to be launched on the 24th august in the US and 27th august world wide. I feel, that the original Mafia had the best story line, the game was just great, if any of you have missed it, you better get yourself a copy (should be very cheap now, less than $10). The game Demo is out, but I will not recommend that you get it, its a 1GB game and has only about 10min of gameplay and you can roam around in the world only for 10min. The game seems pretty demanding on the hardware, so u need a decent PC to play it at good settings.

We all have been playing the NFS series since we were kids, the game sure is much different now, but one thing remains the same : we love it! . After a few disappointing games, NFS came back a bit with a GRID style track experience with SHIFT, now with Hot pursuit, we have cops back again ! from the screenshots and videos I have seen, the game looks pretty good. It will be released in November this year, but you can pre order it for $50 on amazon.
